"Average I know I'm 22 and I chose the $500 deductible with full coverage, but $330 per month is a little steep when we originally agreed to $313 per month for one auto and renter's, and still, that is quite expensive. Us young people can't always afford expensive policies like that. Thank you for your service in the military, Dan Kramer. Thank you to your employees who are very helpful, including Tamarra and others who are very kind as well. I recommend this agent for a policy, but I would never recommend you make a claim to ANY insurance agent as I guarantee you, your premium will go up even if an accident is not your fault. As good as this agent is, the truth of the insurance business still stands. Roadside assistance and lockout claims are different, but I would try to never claim for an accident, even if it wasn't your fault, unless you absolutely had to"

"I had home and car policies with Dan Kramer for over 20 years until I received the worse customer service from his staff. They take notes after you call and when I had a major issue with my insurance the girl read the notes to me which was nothing I had said. They made a mistake when renewing my car insurance. They took no ownership to this error which ended up costing me over a $1000. I think what bothered me the most is being a customer for over 20 years meant nothing to them and that the notes in the system were not correct and were there to protect the person who made the mistake."

"READ YOUR POLICY My parents have been with State Farm for decades, without a claim. They are in their 90s. We discovered a leak under their dishwasher while upgrading their floor. The contractor advised us to contact State Farm who promptly denied the claim as a maintenance issue. (I had a similar situation in my kitchen which paid for the replacement of a hardwood floor through Citizens Hanover.) Apparently my 95 year old father was supposed to remove his built in dishwasher periodically for maintenance. The appliance was working well so replacement did not seem necessary. State Farm stated that the appliance should have been upgraded to a newer model. The replacement of working appliances is not always an option for lower/fixed income homeowners. Additionally my parents were sold a homeowners policy with a $2000 deductible which pretty much guaranteed that they would seldomly, if ever, be reimbursed for a claim. With "good neighbors" like State Farm, I'll take my chances with not so good neighbors!"

"I have never seen such an incompetent office in my life. The lack of attention to detail and lazy attitude is one of the reasons this office is so hard to work with. Examples; Every few months the office will loose my billing information thus calling me alerting me my account is past due and threatening to end my service. The issue is they have my card to do re occurring payments and every time I have to re read them the same card information and then call back a second time the following month to re enroll in the auto bill. I have talked with the bank and they are not rejecting the card, there is more than enough money in the account, and sometimes they don't even show an attempted bill. Next, when it came time to buy a new car I read them the VIN over the phone. I got the card in the mail along with one from my state saying my car was not insured. They had the VIN wrong....I called them and re read them the VIN. Wen to sec of state it was still wrong. No after hours support so I lost my place in line. Called again and they STILL got it wrong. I had to cal them back and read it to them a 4th time very very slowly. Next, I wanted to add items to my insurance before I went on a trip to Europe. The represenitive was very frustrated at the time and would not take down the information. I was told she would call me back but she never did. Then I called her, she was very rude and had me read the s/n. She never added it. I had to call back again and then she told me "Lets just add it when you come back". I said no and she had me email her the information. She still did not add it so I had to contact her boss."
